Grub Customizer 4.0.6 is a GUI for GRUB in Ubuntu. It allows user to configure the GRUB settings. The major feature of GRUB Customizer 4.0.6 is boot entry list configuration.
If you don’t have this tool then you have to manually edit all GRUB and boot settings. It allows you to perform various tasks like reinstall boot loader, change default operating system and you can edit the Boot loader’s configuration file.
In this post i have written the steps to download the GRUB Customizer 4.0.6 in Ubuntu.
Save the GRUB customizer and extraxt it.
This application is available via PPA. So add the PPA and update the grub customizer package and update local repositories.
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grub-customizer
To remove the GRUB 4.0.6 Customizer:
In case if you wish to remove your GRUB 4.0.6, you can execute the following command.
$ sudo apt-get remove grub-customizer
And now GRUB 4.0.6 is installed in your system………. Enjoy using it guys………..
